Modern Jive dance usually held first Friday of the month. Doors open at 8:00pm, with an icebreaker modern jive class at 8:45, (see individual event for details of teacher) followed by freestyle dancing until 11:30pm with music by DJ Andy Kale. Held at Admiral Lord Nelson Hall, Dundas Lane, Portsmouth, PO3 5XT (just 5 minutes off the motorway). Superb venue - non-smoking, huge sprung dance floor, licenced bar, plenty of parking. Price only £7.00 if booked in advance or £8.00 on the door. We are not affiliated to any specific dance organisation - event is run by Jive & Swing Jukebox (Becky & Andy Kale) We started over 10 years ago... and aim to offer dancers a great value night out, with excellent music and a superb dance floor.
