Power Jive

We teach Beginners Modern Jive - A Dance Class with a difference, using a variety of different music to allow the beginner to progress into an intermediate whilst learning techniques and style to allow the person to dance to any music.

WE ARE CLOSED FOR HOLIDAYS TUESDAY 13 AND 20 JULY, REOPEN WEDNESDAY 21 JULY THEN REVERT TO TUESDAYS FROM 27 JULY, 7.30PM START.

The venue, Drax Village Hall, Castle Hill Lane, Drax, Nr Selby, North Yorkshire has undergone a recent refurbishment. It has a lovely dance floor. Entry is £4.00, class starts at 7.30pm for beginners and 8.30pm for improvers, finishing at 10.00pm. There is a refreshment break with tea/coffee/juice and biscuits provided free of charge.

We will be holding our next Social Evening on Tuesday 24 August from 7.30 - 10.30pm, £5.00 and bring a plate of food and drinks with you. We will be holding Social's for our class and anyone else who wishes to join us the last Tuesday of every month, so why not come along and meet us, you are sure to make new friends.

A fun, happy atmosphere, for a mix of abilities.

Good music, good fun - this is what dancing is all about.
