UK-Jive was set-up in 2001 by Jon White, a keen modern
jiver and freelance web designer. Jon & his wife Jenn
run dance events in Cardiff under the name Jive Magic (details
of events available from this site!)
The popularity of the UK-Jive has steadily grown over the
past years and now receives around 25,000 visitors
/ month.
The aim of this site is to provide up-to-date, accurate information
about modern jive classes and events throughout the UK. All
information held is submitted and maintained by the organisations
who have registered their details on the site. As such, while
every attempt is made to ensure accuracy, we always recommend
contacting the organisation before travelling to an event
advertised by them.
To help maintain accuracy of content, the subscribing organisations
to UK-Jive are encouraged to review their information every
three months at minimum. Inactive accounts are followed up
and where no contact can be made, out dated information is
removed. |
