We are currently running a Tango event each quarter, on the third Sunday of the month. Details are available here, on our website, on the Dance Card Events Facebook page, or on the engineshedwetherby website under 'diary'.

West Coast Swing private lessons are available, but there are no current plans to run a class. We will be running occasional workshops. Details will be available on the social media/website platforms mentioned above.

Dance cards, often shaped as a lady's fan, originated in the 18th century and were for recording the names of partners that each dance of the evening were promised to. We may not keep this tradition in the 21st century but today's events are warm and friendly affairs, encouraging people to mix and make new acquaintances.

The emphasis is on creating a welcoming and fun environment where all those new moves learnt at your local dance class can be put to use.
