Modern Jive Portsmouth
We are an independent organisation, who have been running modern jive freestyles for over 10 years. We typically have 150+ dancers from across the south at our events and are known for our friendly crowd, excellent dance venue and great music!
We run two dances a month:
Friday Fever: Usually 1st Friday of the month, dancing from 8-11:30pm with fun class at 8:45-9:15pm.
Saturday Showcase: Usually 3rd Saturday in the month, dancing 8-midnight, with fun class by guest teacher PLUS a cabaret at 10pm. Cabaret ranges from Hip-hop to ballroom dancing - lindy hop to Pom-pom dancers! Always guaranteed to be entertaining!
And with plenty of parking, a large sprung dance floor and licensed bar, Admiral Lord Nelson is the perfect venue! ... We look forward to welcoming you to our next event!
