MJ-ive: Morris (Revdrop) and Judith Rodham ran MJ-ive as a charity fund-raising venture from 2006, combining dancing pleasure to music which was more expressive and challenging for dancers, with raising several thousand pounds for a range of charities. Having moved to the Lake District in 2019 they now run a range of dance events as an income stream - DJ'ing, freestyles, and 'walk and dance' opportunities in the Lake District.
As the driving force behind the very popular TFIF in Oxford, Morris is known for DJ'ing in the modern blues/expressive style and avoiding 'boom boom thump thump' music of any sort, and for an approach to dancing which feels the dynamic of the music and interprets it bodily in dance, rather than learning set move sequences.
