Hello and welcome back to Yorkshire Freestyle nights !



You have found the home of friendly and welcoming Modern Jive Freestyle nights in Yorkshire with music by DJ Kerry B.

We have been running nights since 1999 in Wetherby and for almost as long in Tadcaster and have always tried to make our nights as friendly and welcoming for dancers as possible with a varied range of the very best modern jive music in great dancer friendly venues. Our nights attract dancers from all over Yorkshire and beyond and are currently held at 2 of the best loved dance venues in the area...

Occassionally we have our Modern Jive Freestyle nights at The Engine Shed , Wetherby.

If you have never been to 'The Shed' before it really is one of the best dance venues in the North with 2 dance floors, a great sound/lighting/big screen system and a late licensed bar. On our nights the gorgeous Chiqui will be there to welcome you and she serves fruit and cake halfway through the nights to help keep energy levels up while DJ Kerry is in the main room playing all your favourite modern jive tracks...
There is an upper balcony area that also has its own dance floor. The Engine Shed also has its own large car park covered by cctv. With its friendly atmosphere you are sure to have a great night out at this venue.

Our other Modern Jive Freestyle nights are held on the 3rd Friday of every month at the iconic Riley Smith Hall in Tadcaster. Kerry will be in the main hall playing all your favourite modern jive tracks both old and new from 8pm til midnight.

If you have not been to the Riley Smith Hall it is a great hall with a large sprung dance floor. There is plenty of parking in Tadcaster around the venue (including a large car park). Tadcaster nights are always special , with a great atmosphere and great dancers and the staff are always friendly with Chiqui on the door to welcome you with a smile and always helpful. The hall has a licensed bar also , with dancing on a Friday night til midnight...
