Swingland

Swingland has been running weekly lindy hop classes and dances in and around London since January 1998.

Classes & workshops - regular weekly club nights and workshops where you can learn and practise in a fun and friendly environment. Learn to dance.

Clubs/events/dance parties - after the classes, our club nights feature dancing to top swing DJs and regular live bands. We also run a bi-monthly Friday night swing dance party (The 2 O'Clock Jump) as well as larger annual events such as our glamorous 1920s/30s/40s Swing Balls.

Choreography - Swingland is run by Martin Ellis who also choreographs the Attic Cats Lindy hop performance group. Martin and the Swingland team are available for private/group classes (eg "first dance"), demos, performances (eg corporate events) and for video, film and TV work.

Swingland is a professional organisation specialising in swing dance tuition, events and choreography. We are a small team of very experienced teachers and event organisers, all driven by our passion for swing music and dancing. We are fully insured and VAT registered. Established 1998.
