The Thing Modern jive night was founded by Paul Walker over seven years ago. Based on the south coast, Bournemouth & Poole The Thing currently runs three class nights. Each night consists of a beginner & Intermediate classes plus freestyle. these events have lots of different ways to help you learn ie: full constructive fun classes, dance moves projected on the wall of the hall, for visual aid, coaches & Beginner DVD Hire plus DVD sales for the modern jive beginners & improver's. Class Instructors are Paul "thething" Walker, "Steaming Steve White"& "The G Man Gary". freestyles run every month. Mission Statement for The THING is " Learn have fun and help others".
